CINISTA CIN'ATRA INTERVIEW By. D.Raida Pack

FIRST OFF WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR TAKING TIME OUT TO DO THIZ RAIDA PACK INTERVIEW. WHY DONT YOU GIVE PEOPLE A LITTLE HISTORY ABOUT YOUR CAREER SO FAR, FOR THOSE THAT DONT KNOW.

CC: Man, it's all love.  Thank you for giving me a chance to shine and get exposure. I have been in the Seattle underground music scene for 8 years.  I started out as an emcee but moved to the music business side.  I wanted to know what I was getting myself into as an artist.  Most of my friends are in the rap game.  I saw the pitfalls and the mistakes they were getting themselves into.  They did not know what they were doing.  They thought their rapping was going to make them successful.  They didn't know shit about Marketing, Promotions and Business Management.   I did not want to make the same mistakes, so I invested my time and money going to college majoring in Business Management.  I get a lot of respect within the industry due to the fact that I am educated in the business. If you are an artist or a manager and you are in town on business, you will either hear my name or see me at your meeting.

WHEN AND WHAT MADE YOU GET INTO THIZ MUZIC THING-THING?

CC:  I fell in love with music when I was a toddler, I was always
expressing myself.  I first started out playing the drums.  Then I moved into break dancing, soon after that. I would say around 4th grade I got into poetry. Poetry stuck with me because I could express myself through words. I remember when I was in 7th grade, I wrote my first rap song called "Niggaz Are Bold". The teacher took my paper and gave it to the principal. We had a meeting in his office, the principal thought that it was a song by a real artist. I got suspended, but at the same time, I was also complimented on my writing capabilities.

WHAT WOULD YOU FEEL INSPIREZ YOUR PROJECTZ WHEN YOU SIT DOWN TO BLAZE NEW ISH?

CC: I am inspired by my emotions and the struggles of every day life.
Life is poetry no matter how simple or complicated it may seem.  If you are truly in tune with life, you will see that life is trying to tell us something. My music is a reflection of my life and I am trying to educate and entertain people through my music. I think people; especially young people will be able to relate to what I am saying. If they can relate and understand my message then I am doing my job as an artist. My music is not for everyone, but it is for anyone.

WHAT IZ YOUR LATEST PROJECT? AND HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE PROJECT AS FAR AS PRODUCTION, FLOW AND TEXT? AND WHAT IS YOUR FAV. TRACK
ON IT?

CC: I have been involved with a few projects.  None of them have been my own. I was a manager for many Seattle groups.  I released an album with another rapper named Young Law.  We were in a group called True Identity.  We released an album called "Truest Thoughtz".  It was cool as a demo, moreof a learning experience.  "Cin'atra $tatus" is my first project as an artist. Production for "Cin'atra Status" is going to be very versatile. There is some nice tracks on there.  I think a lot of people are going to be able to feel this project. I got a little bit of everything on my album. There is some street shit, club tracks, battle tracks, love songs and even a skit. As far as my flow, I think it's different from what you are used to
hearing. I try to expand my delivery on every song. I want you to be able to listen to my album more than once. I think every song is different as far as texture, delivery and production. Right now, I do not have a favorite track on my album. To be honest I have not had the chance to listen to my albumin it's entirety. It is still not done as far as the recording.  I do not want to listen to my album until it is totally completed. Right now I can tell you what songs I think are going to have an impact on people. I think people are gonna feel these songs the most "Tha Way I Live", "Do It 2 Def", "No More Tearz", "Murda Skillz" and  "Bring Tha Ruckus". We have already gotten good responses to "Funk Keeps Me Stressin" and "Too Much" which features the rest of the Triple Crown click.

HOW CAN OUR READERZ GET A COPY OF YOUR PROJECTZ OUT?

The other project is another solo album from me called "Muzical Mafioso". I am in the works of trying to get Three 6 Mafia and the Dayton Family on that project. I am really big fans of those two groups.

WHAT DOES CINISTA CIN'ATRA MEAN TO YOU? WHO IS HE AS AN ARTIST? AND WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IZ HIZ STYLE?

CC: Cinista Cin'atra represents attributes and goals that I am trying to accomplish. Cinista is my attribute, I am rough and raw with my flow and words. I speak the truth and deliver it with intensity and passion. Cin'atra represents power and respect, that is my goal in the music business. I already have power and respect in the streets, now I want to achieve it in the music industry. Frank Sinatra is my role model, so I took his name and switched it up. You can accept it or reject it, but you got to respect it.

CC: To be a mutli million dollar nigga. I want respect and power in this industry, either as an emcee or a business man. I am not going to lie, I am in it for selfish reasons. Once I am a success, I can help other people be a success. This is my goal as far as this industry. My goal in life is to help uplift my people as a nation. My nation is Black, Native American and Latino people. You need money, power and respect in order to cause change.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SHOUTOUTZ TO BLAZE INTO THE CYBER WIND?

CC: First and foremost, I send love and praise to Allah who came in the person of Master Fard Muhammad. Second, to my children. Now I want to thank  D. Raida Pack for showing me love and hooking me up with an interview, One love to Stormbird. I wanna send a shout out to all the people out there supporting Native American Hip Hop. First we must build it then we must incorporate it into the mainstream. I am proud and honored to be signed to a Native American owned Record Label like Night Shield Entertainment. We are just starting out, but we are dedicated to being recognized as a strong force in the music industry. I want to send love and respect to all Native American artists because you are showing each other and the world that you are more than
what American Society and Media portrays.
