D: I started rhyming about ten years ago in Vancouver. I eventually moved around to LA, NY, and Montreal producing and rhyming with lots of different people.

WHEN AND WHAT MADE YOU GET INTO THIZ MUZIC THING-THING?

D: I was always into writing music. I remember in grade 3 I wrote a piano
composition on staff sheet. I really got into it when I was 11. I started to play the guitar
and drums.

WHAT WOULD YOU FEEL INSPIREZ YOUR PROJECTZ WHEN YOU SIT DOWN TO BLAZE NEW ISH?

D: I consider myself a visual thinker so I'd say images and times that I've gone through.

WHAT IZ YOUR LATEST PROJECT? AND HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE PROJECT AS FAR AS PRODUCTION, FLOW AND TEXT? AND WHAT IS YOUR FAV. TRACK ON IT?

D: I'm getting this label together right now. Thats really been the focus lately. I recently finished like 18 tracks that will eventually come out
um..Slangblossom is my new project. Its a group of me and P-Nut from Dead Indians. That will be on some totally different break out kind of stuff.As far as fav track I would say this new joint I recently did called "Open Season".

HOW CAN OUR READERZ GET A COPY OF YOUR PROJECTZ OUT?

D: Project Blowed, Volume 10 (Hip-Hopera), Saafir-Boxcar Sessions,
Ghostface(most of his stuff), and Outkast is dope...just off the top

WHAT WOULD BE YA DREAM SHOW AS FAR AS GUEST, PRODUCTION, DJ, WARM UPz, PROMOTER, ETC.?

D: I dunno.I've done alot of tight shows with other cats. I would like to do a show with Mos Def and M.O.P...that would be ill

WHAT EMCEEZ DO YOU BUMP?

D: Aceyalone, Ras Kass,Rawkoticks, Saafir, Ghostface, Raekwon, Fat Jeezy, Kurupt

DO YOU HAVE ANY GUEST APPERANCES OR OTHER PROJECTS IN THE WORKz RIGHT NOW?

D: I gave a track for the Savage Blood compilation, I did some tracks with this cat named C-Black from the Bronx who is now in Harlem we're going to put out a 3-4 track collab on Vinyl called "Ivy League" produced by "Poison Ivy Productions" and Myself. Poison Ivy has worked with Al Tariq, Willie Lead, Sadat x to name a few.Um..My album is coming out,the Slangblossom project, and Im doing some new tracks with this clik called "ol souls" from Brooklyn and the BX The first release on my label is going to be a single from them that is Hot as hell.

WHAT DOES DAYBI MEAN TO YOU? WHO IS HE AS AN ARTIST? AND WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IZ HIZ STYLE?

D: Life day-by-day I guess. I started out in this (like most people) thinking I was Snoop Dog or whatever. The past ten years has been finding my style learning how to make my music mine. I make music how I want to hear it...and I like knowing that no one can say I sound like such and such or act like whatever. That to me is most important. All you biters don't know what peple really say behind your back. And the truth is you'll never get put on if your not genuine. Cats who bump heads on the real always maintain I guess I can say thats why I've been able to meet and accomplish so much this far.

WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK WITH IN THE INDUSTRY? (DEAD OR ALIVE)

D: I'm waitng for when me and Aceyalone link up we've talked about it alot and I also can't wait to work with Zodak. He's working on learning the bass and is pretty ill all around so that will be dope.

D: Right now Im working on making the transition to the business aspect. We've got alittle budgeting and paperwork to do but I that really is moving along quickly. It's just a natural step as far as my career is concerned. I also want to put out music that isn't out yet that I think is great.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SHOUTOUTZ TO BLAZE INTO THE CYBER WIND?

D: word...Mr.Brady, C-Black, S.I.C, Ol Souls, Zodak, Acey, J-Smoove, Abstract Rude, Mikah 9, Dead Indians, Utmost, Dario, Chilan, redhiphop, and anyone else who I know and give love oh yeah the raida pack too.
